The Dresden Codex is a book dating back to the 11th century, created by the Yucatecan Maya of Chichén Itzá. The Mayan  documented everything using  their own Mayan hieroglyphs, which can be seen throughout Dresden Codex. Over a hundred hieroglyphs in this amazing piece of history have still yet to be decoded. Maybe you can fare better than the experts?

 

Our reproduction measures identically to the original piece, at 11 feet long and 8 inches tall, with 39 sheets. More than just a book, this is a magnificent piece of cultured art. This book has two option. Option one is the  $ 99  textured paper option (thick acid free paper with slight texture). Option two is $ 399 traditional Amate paper option (learn more here). Both options are folded in accordion style, or stretched out in full if you choose to mount it on your wall.

 

Note: The Amate paper we use is made in Mexico and avalibility is limited. Orders can take up to 60 days to get the paper imported.
